About the job: We are looking for a highly motivated analyst, who supports key roles in the profitability development of our insurance products in Estonia and would be involved across Baltic projects. You will be part of our Pan-Baltic pricing department. You will participate in different types of strategic projects related to our product pricing. The main focus will lie on the profitability analysis, support of product managers and support of Pan-Baltic projects.
Functions & roles:
- Profitability monitoring and analysis
- Regular monitoring and development of statistical models
- Insurance product analysis
- Report preparation
- Participation in data mapping
- Participating in strategic projects where statistical and mathematical substantiation is needed
Competencies, experience & education:
- Higher education in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, economics, data science or actuarial sciences
- Some experience with large data sets and/or models in MS Excel
- Desire to learn (if no experience) SAP Webi
- Desire to learn (if no experience) insurance industry dynamics
- High sense of responsibility and accuracy
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Results oriented attitude and analytical thinking
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Experience in statistical modelling or experience with SAS (software) will be considered as advantage
